Nechako Aviation Ltd. has been operating as a Transport Canada licensed float-plane charter service since 1996. Joe has over 20 years bush flying experience and he will personally pilot you in our C-180 float plane. Over the years he has built up a vast knowledge of terrain and weather conditions in this area, transporting anglers in and out of remote lakes, flight-seeing with tourists from all over the world in the mountains of the coast range, and taking part in numerous fire patrols for the forest service.

Nechako Lodge & Aviation is the only fixed-wing carrier with a permit to transport clients into Tweedsmuir Provincial Park from a base close to Prince George and Vanderhoof.

The proximity of Nechako Lodge to the eastern boundary of the park allows us to fly into most lakes at very reasonable costs. With commercial guiding permits for North and South Tweedsmuir Park and Entiako Park & Protected Area, we are able to look after all your needs and make your wilderness adventure a worry free experience. As a licensed BC Angling Guide Joe is permitted to fly you to any lake that is covered by our extensive operating area.

Hunters and companies doing field work in the Upper Nechako Watershed, along with anglers and backcountry tourists, choose Nechako Aviation Ltd. as their preferred float-plane charter service.

Guests flying in with their own float-plane or helicopter are welcome to use our landing platform or docking facilities. Fuel facilities and of course our local aviation knowledge are available at all times. Please give us advance notice if you require avgas and check with us for current conditions.
