Spring at Nechako Lodge

As we begin the last month of our quiet time, we are watching this winter's large snow piles rapidly turning into numerous, small rushing creeks - apparently spring is coming early this year.
Naturally, Joe's thoughts turn to float flying again, especially after this frustrating ski flying season. A late freeze up, large snowfalls with bad overflow and unstable ice conditions allowed only a few flights on skis. The "Red Bird" will be converted to floats shortly, to be ready for an hopefully early return home.

Welcome to our new website


At the beginning of a new season we are looking forward to meeting many of you in person at the lodge or with your pictures, stories, or comments in the new Community Section of our website.
